Seasonal Potluck: Join us!

My old pal Kelley and I have recently reconnected through our love of cooking and blogging. Lately we’ve been tossing around the idea of a themed, online ”potluck” not only to learn some new recipes, but to share ideas and connect with others who share our same loves. Seeing as its springtime, the time when all the good stuff starts growing, what better than to do a seasonal ingredient theme for our potluck! Kelley’s quote was “I sure am sick of clementines.” Amen sista!

Here’s how it’s going to go down:

Seasonal Potluck

  1. All recipes must include the seasonal ingredient of the month.
  2. Any course (i.e. appetizer, main dish, dessert) and even drinks (!) are fair game.
  3. One post per week is the goal, if you can’t – we still want you to participate!  Just post as much as you can or would like to.
  4. Recipes can be posted any day of the week, BUT if you post on Friday try to make a drink or an appetizer in the spirit of happy hour!

We’re kicking off the party this Friday with our seasonal ingredient for the month of April: RHUBARB!!! Ta da! Every week in April I’ll be making at least one Rhubarb themed dish (I’d better get better at typing the word rhubarb). Guess what, you’re invited! Join us! Learn what grows when, how to cook it, and share your wisdom with us and all the readers internet wide! Cooking seasonal ingredients not only is better for you and the environment, but its cool too. Your family and friends will appreciate you more. Let’s do this people! Spread the word and get your rhubarb ready!

UPDATE! You can post links to your recipes HERE using our link tool!
