This weekend ended up being one of the most epic of all time. My very best friend and fitness guru, Val called me on Friday morning with the news that her boyfriend of 7 years (and The Hubs best friend) had finally popped the question! By 9pm that evening, the 4 of us were on a plane to Vegas so they could make it official. They managed to sneak in under the wire and were married just before the clock stuck midnight on March 1st at the Stained Glass Wedding Chapel, which happend to be the closest to the county clerk’s office.
Not only was I BEYOND overjoyed to be able to witness a beautiful wedding between two people whom I love so dearly, but leave it to my bestie to help me check off a bucket list item in the process. That item being; hopping on a plane with no luggage or anything when someone says, “let’s go to Vegas!” The spontaneity made the whole night that much more electrifying.
