Val and I have survived the last 10 years of our life by drinking copious amounts of champagne and champagne cocktails. It would be a giant understatement to say we just “like” champagne. Its like a food group to us. When I saw this recipe, I knew it would make a perfect, boozy birthday treat for her! I will say that the champagne flavor wasn’t as strong as I had hoped, but they were super delish nonetheless!

Nothin’ but the good stuff! HA! I took a powdered sugar shower while making this frosting! So THAT’S what the mixer splash guard is for!
Picked up this new frosting set. My old pastry bag just wasn’t cutting it. I frosted all these cupcakes in under 5 minutes! (that’s fast for me)
Ok, maybe if I had spent a little more time they would have looked a bit better but I was running late for work!
