This is a direct quote from a text I sent to my friend after taking one bite of these. The concept is so obvious, I’m not sure why I haven’t thought of it before, but I’m so glad I finally came to my senses and made these!
I actually stockpile candy canes after the holidays so I have them to snack on for several months into the spring. The Hubs, however, dislikes a chocolate/mint combination, so I know that I’ll have these treats all to myself. Yes! (it wasn’t intentional I swear)
I know its not even Thanksgiving yet, and some people get up in arms about celebrating one holiday at a time, but in my opinion, it’s all just “the holidays” in general so its fine to mix ’em all up and make festive, minty Christmas treats in mid-November. I mean, if the Ghirardelli peppermint bark is available, then you might as well go for it!
