For my next edition of coolest thing ever, check out this thing I got for Christmas. It’s called the split-decision pie pan, and it allows you to bake 2 pies in one!
I’ll be honest, The Hubs and I don’t really disagree on pie flavors (we both like all pies) but I thought it would be fun to take this bad boy for a test drive.
I knew I had to choose 2 pies that required similar preparations. I had it in my mind to make an orange pie in the spirit of seasonal potluck (not that I have ever heard of an orange pie before, but I knew it must exist). After googling a bit I realized orange pie is similar to chocolate pie, so I went with that. I thought it would be a nice combination, and it was! So fun too. It’s like having a pie buffet at your fingertips! This is going to be super awesome around thanksgiving time.
