We had a great holiday full of friends, family and lots of joy! I hope the same can be said for all of you! We hosted 15 1/2 (Leila’s first Thanksgiving!) people this year, and were fortunate enough for beautiful southern California weather that allowed us to eat outdoors. We fried two turkeys (one brined, one cajun) per our usual holiday tradition. I also made my “award winning stuffing“, Martha Stewart’s Pumpkin Cream Pie, which converted my friend Jeff from a non pumpkin pie lover! I also made some rolls since I’m on such a homemade bread kick these days.
I spent yesterday recouping from all the excitement (read: hangover) and today I’m making turkey stock, putting up our christmas tree and the rest of the holiday decorations. Not to mention leftover eating!
Happy Holidays to all!
I’d like to say a super thanks to all my blog readers! Today marks my 100th post! I’ve only been at this since July but you’ve all made me feel so great with your comments and replies! Cheers to another year of creative exploration! Thanks again!
