In light of the fact that most people will have a few days off next week, and may be looking for ways to entertain themselves mindlessly, I thought I’d share with you some things I’ve learned from my favorite time-killing site, pinterest. If you don’t know about pinterest, you’re either my mom, or you’ve been living under a rock. Just go check it out….your life/home/kitchen/crafting will never be the same again.
Pinterest Lesson #1: There’s A LOT of things that can be made from a T-shirt
Like this produce bag for example! I mean, everyone needs a bag specifically for produce. Why on earth would you pay money for one when you can MAKE one out of a t-shirt am I right?
Pinterest Lesson #2: My fingernail painting skills are waaaaaaay below average
Who are these people that have such incredibly steady hand that they can paint super detailed designs on BOTH HANDS?! Shouldn’t they be performing surgery or something with those kind of skills?
Pinterest Lesson #3 My home is really lacking quotation artwork
I have exactly zero framed quotes in my house. Oh wait! I have one….Going forward, instead of writing down quotes, I’ll just frame them so I’ll remember them.
Pinterest Lesson #4 If you want to get into super amazing shape, you need to wear extremely skimpy workout clothes and only work out in really dramatic lighting.
Looks like my food stained t-shirt and baggy shorts aren’t going to cut it anymore. No wonder I can’t lose that last 5lbs.
Pinterest Lesson #5 The people who work at someecards.com are hilarious. The rest of us….not so funny
I think there’s a punchline in there somewhere. Let’s leave the ecards to the professionals shall we? Seriously. This is just lame.
Pinterest Lesson #6 The only people who have ever said anything that matters are Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Dr. Seuss and Winnie the Pooh
Geniuses those 4. Pure genius. Better get some frames……..
Pinterest Lesson #7: Natural looking eye makeup is out!
And all this time I thought the key to wearing makeup was to look like you weren’t wearing makeup! I’m such a fool.
Pinterest Lesson #8 Hair braiding has come a LONG way since I was a girl
Wow! Someone put a lot of time into their braiding skills. The upside down french braid with curled tendrils from my youth is officially a thing of the past. Prom go-ers of today are some very stylish ladies.
