The Hubs and I are back from an awesome weekend in Cabo. I’m fortunate enough to live by the sea and get to see it nearly every day, but I don’t often sit and stare out at it quietly for extended periods of time. Quiet contemplation can do wonders for a busy mind. So can the spa….and margaritas. I guess if I had to re-write this quote is would say, “The cure for anything is the sea, the spa, and a pitcher of margaritas.” Just kidding. Sweating and crying will always make me feel better than tequila. Now those are words to live by.
We had a wonderful time, but its back to the sweat for both of us this week. (Hopefully no tears though). The downside of daylight saving time is that its still pitch black outside when I was normally running at 6:30am. Head lamp and reflective vest perhaps? Too nerdy?
I’d love if everyone would send their positive thoughts to my wonderful friend Jen this week for a smooth and swift delivery of baby Carson (preferably on Wednesday so I have a shot at winning the birth betting pool). I know she’s ready for this baby to come out! Thanks for waiting till I was back in the country Jen! I hope I’ll be able to post his cute face for this Friday’s Great List. Have a Great week everyone! Back with a recipe for you tomorrow.
