I miss The Hubs when he’s out of town. One upside though, is that I get to make girly, salad-y dinners for myself and not have to worry about whether or not he’s had enough to eat. Since my mother in law gave me Ina Garten’s “Back to Basics” cookbook, I have become obsessed. The tomato soup I made the other night turned out so amazingly, that I was anxious to try more of her recipes. One that caught my eye that seemed “husband out of town” appropriate was her recipe for Roasted Pears with Blue Cheese. Bonus: I already had all the ingredients at my house!
Once again, Ina’s recipe made me say WOW! This dish is so delicious I couldn’t get enough. I will make this dish again, I can guarantee it!
