French bread pizza is the perfect meal for a gathering. Make a few loaves ahead of time to serve as appetizers, or have each guest customize their own.
Calling this french bread pizza might be a little stretch as mine are made on a loaf of healthy flax bread, but you can make yours on french bread if you want to!

French Bread Pizza
There’s not really a recipe for french bread pizza per se. Here’s how I made it.
- Cut loaf in half
- Toast under the broiler for 2-4 minutes to desired crispiness.
- Add your favorite toppings!
- Broil 2-4 additional minutes.

This is a great meal for one or a party! Make a few loaves, slice ’em up and serve them as appetizers. Or, have the whole family customize their own personal pizzas.
If you want to make your own healthy flax bread, for pizza’s or other, check out Dee’s Health Bread. I substituted wheat germ for cracked wheat and was sure to grind my flaxseeds for maximum absorption.
