Whoa. Major Greatness overload this week. I realize that life can’t be this Great all the time, but I’m definitely going to drink it up and enjoy it while it lasts! When it rains it pours right? I’m writing this from my “bed” at Jenny’s apartment in Seattle. It’s gray, but actually pretty bright outside. I’m really looking forward to our standard shopping-and-day-drinking adventure we’re sure to take today. Plus, I plan to saturate my entire insides with Seattle coffee. This weekend is going to be AWESOME! Let’s get to the list
1. As you can see, my long awaited new website launched this week! It has been such a labor of love, and I’m really proud of the way its turned out. Collaborating with my friend and designer, Aimee, was a joy. There is no Greater feeling in my mind than watching a project go from inception to completion.
2. I got to style food with a Great crew earlier in the week. I was just thinking about these guys and how fun it was to work with them, and then lo and behold, the phone rang, and it was them! See what happens when you put positive thoughts out in the universe? We had a great time, and the work turned out beautifully. I can’t wait to check out the billboard when it goes up.
3. My trip to Seattle yesterday was PERFECT! I had my own row on both legs of the flight, and when I arrived, I walked to the baggage claim and my bag was already out! That’s like, unheard of. Plus, Nirvana was playing at the airport when I landed. We are in the birth place of grunge music after all.
4. Frank and Jenny are the best hosts EVER! They love to eat and drink, so my first few hours in Seattle were filled with craft cocktails and oysters. Very pacific northwest. Tonight we’ll be dining at Altura which I am super excited about! In fact, I think my whole trip is based around where we’re going to eat and drink. Love it!
Before I get back to vacationing, I want to wish a very happy birthday to my sweet niece Alexandra. 3 years old today! I love you cutie! Have a wonderful birthday.
I hope you all had a Great week as well! If it seems not-so-great, look a little closer, I’m sure you can find something to be Grateful for. See you all next week!
