Ingredients

For the cake

  • 1 box devils food cake mix prepared as a bundt, according to package instructions

For the red hot syrup

  • 1 cup red hot candies plus extra for garnish
  • 1/4 cup water

For the glaze

  • 1 cup confectioners sugar sifted
  • 2-4 Tbs heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Combine red hot candies and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until candies melt and a smooth syrup forms. If the mixture seems too thick, add more water. Cool mixture slightly.
  2. Whisk together confectioners sugar and heavy cream until smooth. Whisk in red hot syrup.
  3. Pour mixture over prepared cake. Top with additional red hots candies.
