Did you know you can grill frozen french fries?! You can! And with some grilled meat on top, you've got the best summer meal — Carne Asada Fries! Make up these grill packets to take to BBQs and picnics, too! They're easy and keep the mess out of the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • Frozen french fries
  • Kerrygold butter
  • Kerrygold aged cheddar cheese
  • scallions

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to medium high heat.
  2. Tear off a sheet of foil and place one serving of french fries in the center. Fold up the sides to create a bowl or packet that is open on the top. Dot Kerrygold butter (about 1/2 tablespoon per packet) over the top of the fries.
  3. Place packet on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes until fries are browned. Sprinkle with cheddar and cook 1-2 minutes more until cheese melts. Remove from heat and garnish with scallions.
