Crock pot Baked Apples

Turn up the cozy fall vibes with these simple Crock Pot baked apples. Set it and forget it! Make the tastiest autumn dessert with practically no effort at all. A great recipe for one, two or an entire crowd.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 Tbsp cold butter cut into small pieces
  • ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut off the top of each apple and remove the core using a small spoon or melon baller.

  2. In a small bowl combine 1 cup rolled oats, and next 5 ingredients (through chopped pecans)
  3. Using a pastry blender, cut cold butter into oats mixture until fully incorporated and the mixture is crumbly in texture.
  4. Stuff each apple with oats mixture. Set upright in a crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours until apples are soft.
  5. Serve immediately topped with ice cream.
