Pizza wings marinated in zesty tomato sauce, grilled and topped with pepperoni and melty cheese are the ultimate game mash up! The perfect recipe for those days when you can’t decide which of your favorite foods to eat.
The alarm clock went off on Thursday morning and The Hubs rolled over and said, “Football starts today!”
Good morning to you to honey.
If only he was this enthusiastic about cooking, stationary shopping or walking the dogs…. you know, all the things that I love. I guess the variety of our interests makes for a well rounded relationship.
Beyond football, The Hubs gets excited about super high speed internet, complex spreadsheets, wood shop tools, motorized skateboards, pizza and buffalo wings. Since I know zero about those first few things, I decided as a special treat to kick off football season, I’ll combine his two favorite foods into one delicious dish.
Presenting……PIZZA WINGS!
Pizza Wings
These wings are marinated in zesty marinara sauce, grilled, then topped with melty cheese and mini pepperonis. Pretty much every man’s football food dream come true.
If you’re not into food mash-ups, I’ve got more excellent wings recipes for you to try this football season. There’s bound to be one that you’ll fall in love with.
If you give this recipe a try, I’d love to see it! Tag me @betsylife on Facebook or Instagram and I’ll share your creations!
